Regent Cruises - Five small ships with 490-730 passengers, luxury accommodations, amazing cuisine, excellent service and many all inclusive amenities including shore excursions
Caribbean Experience March 2022
The Splendor is an all-suite all veranda ship starting from 307 SF up to an amazing 4400! We were in an F1 Splendor Suite which was great. I especially liked that the bed faced the veranda and besides the amazing walk-in closet there was plenty of space. The veranda was large with two padded chairs that reclined – a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The bathroom was sleek with double sinks, a bathtub, and a walk-in shower.
The Splendor has an amazing selection of dining options with specialty dining included in the cruise price. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the great options but we particularly loved Pacific Rim (Asian fusion) and Sette Mari (Italian). Although room service is free, we loved having breakfast and lunch on the well -designed La Veranda on the back of the ship. Regent realized how popular those back verandas are and made it larger with wonderful alcoves and tucked away but handy service areas. At night it becomes Sette Mari and we enjoyed dinner there twice. Every meal onboard was an event with memorable cuisine and amazing service.
There are many relaxing spaces on the ship with tucked away bars and entertainment option. We enjoyed the talented mixologists and the hard to describe duo who played often in the Splendor Lounge (Kasia and Boogie!)
The pool area is large with lots of comfortable seating including shade and the Splendor has a unique Infinity pool on the back on Deck five accessible through the Spa. I think it’s a hidden retreat and being in it while the ship is sailing looking down at the water was mesmerizing. There is also some. Relaxing loungers back there but maybe we should keep it a secret!
As much as the ship’s design is beautiful, the crew on this ship like all Regent’s fleet are amazing. They truly can’t do enough to make your vacation memorable!
